BALL CAGE COUPLING

The ball-cage coupling is connected to the driving and driven shafts respectively with a cage-shaped outer ring and a star-shaped inner ring. The force transmission point steel ball is located in the plane passing through the center of the coupling and is installed in the raceway formed by the spherical outer ring and the outer spherical groove of the star-shaped inner ring. The centers of the two spherical surfaces coincide with the center of the universal coupling, ensuring that the centers of all steel balls are located on the angular bisector of the angle between the two shaft axes.

Features of ball cage type universal couplings:

The transmission mode can be sliding transmission or rolling transmission. In the case of sliding transmission, to neutralize the vibration and damping of vibrations, polymer buffer sleeves are installed on the ball arm and the transmission arm. When adopting rolling transmission, then on the ball arm and transmission arm, the original buffer sleeve is modified as a rolling part, and simultaneously, between the ball head and the mortar seat, the original cushion is changed to a rolling part to adapt to the needs of rigid transmission.
